When coming back from lunch, employee Jessica Mercado
came upon a young
man
lying in the road having a seizure. She directed the boy's friends to
call 911, turned the young man to his side to facilitate his breathing
and stayed with the patient until EMS could arrive. Jessica's swift
actionws helped to stabilize the boy until he could be transported to
the hospital by Emergency Services. Here, Jessica recieves a
commendation from Board Chair Ignacio Venegas.
